“This designation affirms 鶹 as a leader in revolutionizing higher education in the twenty-first century.”

Through Digital World, all 鶹 undergraduate students are given free iPads in order to maximize and personalize their learning. The program emphasizes collaborative, problem-solving learning and creates a faculty-student partnership that puts students at the center of the learning. In order to support these efforts, 鶹 has substantially upgraded its campus technology and is now in the top 10 percent of all connected campuses nationally.

鶹 has also invested in faculty professional development to expand their understanding of best practices for incorporating iPads in the classroom. Eighty-five percent of faculty members completed Digital World training in the first year. This knowledge gives them the ability to guide their students by collecting real-time data on learning and create an atmosphere where every student can share and participate in the learning process, and is comfortable doing so.
